Black Friday Squad

Here are some old photos of my family and I on Black Friday. Yes, we are the crazy ladies who sleep outside of stores to get great deals. While others are thinking, "no way! It's so not worth it!" I think we enjoy the bonding time... playing games and just crazy chit chat time. I love my family and am so glad that we have this crazy tradition!

Winter Weather

I love this picture of my guys. This is such a genuine picture of them. Gosh time is just flying by. It's cold outside and my boys can now converse about the weather....where did that come from??? :-) Happy Holidays everyone.

Ravi's 5th Birthday

I found these pictures of Ravi and Xavier. They were taken on Ravi's 5th birthday. It really captured the bond of brotherhood. :-) See.... I'm not exaggerating when I say Xavier is in his terrible two's. Poor patient Ravi.

Pumping Iron with Dad

Xavier and his Daddy were working out together and I couldn't resist posting these. It is so cute how boys pick up stuff from their Dads.

Spring Training Game

Ravi went to a spring training game with his dad. It was the Cleveland Indians vs. Chicago White Sox. My guys made sure to wear black socks so they would not be confused as White Sox fans.
:-) The game was a tie 2:2. So everyone left happy.

Boys will be boys

Ravi and Xavier were playing outside with chalk. A few minutes later water was involved and viola we had blue paint. I went outside because they were being too quite. I'm sure you moms know what I mean when I say "Too Quite". What did I see? Xavier with a blue face looking like something out of Braveheart and Ravi laughing hysterically. I giggled a bit but then asked Ravi, "Rav how did you brother's face get blue?" He answers, looking very serious, "He did it himself." I looked at Xavier's hands and what do you know, no blue on his hands. I then asked Ravi, "Rav may I see your hands?" There you go.....smurf blue hands. Yes, I was a little hurt he lied to me but, I think a valuable lesson was learned by Ravi. Mommy is smarter than he thinks.

Ravi's first picture

Ravi drew his first picture of a horse. Everyday he is asking us PLEASE draw me a horse and we do. But let me tell you... months later it gets to be repetitive. So, I encourage him to try to draw it himself. Well the other day he comes to me with a picture that did resemble a horse. Sure it's a proportions were off but, a pretty good try if this proud mom may say so. Look at the horses legs (stick legs). At least there is four legs, pretty good huh?

Happy Holidays

I just now uploaded our Christmas photos online. Better late than never right? Life was crazy in the Slickman household over the holidays. The more time I took off the busier I became. Weird huh? You would think I would have more free time, with 2 boys and all. :-) It was so much fun hanging out with them. They are becoming such big "little" men. Baby Ravi now requests to be called "RAV". He already thinks he's too cool. Handsome, cool, and suave. Who does that remind you of? As for my little guy...... Xavier has the greatest smile and wow he talks alot. He makes sure to say "NO!" whenever possible. When I correct him he smiles his million dollar smile then gives me a BIG hug. Yes, I know... I'm a sucker. He has me where he wants me. Totally wrapped around his pudgy little pinky. But.... there is no other place I would rather be. God Bless to everyone and Happy Holidays.
